Each manager is responsible for implementing all aspects of the company SMS in their area of responsibility. All employees are responsible for performing their jobs in accordance with established procedures - for their own safety as well as that of their co-workers. All employees are responsible for identifying improvements (through proactive reporting) that can be made to increase the safety of their work environments.
KBAL’s Safety Management System is consistent and aligned with Transport Canada’s highest airline standard complete with Emergency Response Plan and Quality Assurance Program. The President is the Accountable Executive and is responsible for promoting and encouraging our safety mindset that is already part of our corporate culture.
