The weather was perfect for Kenn Borek Air’s 9th annual Charity Golf Tournament held at the Sundre Golf Club on Friday July 21st. A total of 114 golfers turned up in support of the Alberta Fire Fighters’ Burn Camp for Children.
This organization, in partnership with Easter Seals Camp Horizon, hosts a week-long camp for young burn survivors. Doctors, Nurses, and Fire Fighters donate their time to aid in the recovery of the campers. One of the young campers attended the golf tournament and spoke about the positive impact that this Camp has had on his recovery journey. Many of our attendees were deeply touched by his remarks.
